Friends and family of Jitegemee came together on Thursday, July 7 for another fun and successful fundraiser for our work with street children in Machakos. The event was hosted by Rebecca Abou-Chedid at her beautiful Washington, DC home, and guests raised over $11,000 for Jitegemee's work. Jitegemee Students attend #LifeInMyShoes camp
In May 2016, two Jitegemee beneficiaries – John Kiluma and Harrison Mutulu – were invited to attend the Seagal Family Foundation’s (SFF) 6-day Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) camp dubbed #LifeInMySHoes, that took place at Hana Mixed School, Nsangi in Uganda. Jitegemee welcomes new Executive Director
In May, 2016, Verity Norman-Tichawangana joined Jitegemee as our new Executive Director.
